I really wanted to get Valve Index, it's the best VR out there but it's over $1000 and it wouldn't be smart right now to be spending that kind of money. Plus it is rumored they're working on a new and improved version of it.

PSVR2 and Meta Quest 2 are probably the best and cheapest options right now. But I am gonna still wait a bit longer.
i would imagine that most people that can afford these devices are looking at the games, is not horizon Zero dawn having something like this, the burning shores or however it is called?

@Gamernyc78, is the Horizon game for this something you think you are going to get or are interested in?

Would love to see what you think when it comes out and ofc if you get the device.

Index is amazing tech.
Quest 2 you get what you paid... it is cheap VR experience.
PSVR2 will be basically the most advanced VR in the market until others players releases upgraded devices.

At the price of PSVR2 I don't think you will have the same experience on PC even counting the new releases this year.
I know recently Meta Quest came out with Meta Quest Pro but it's $1500 is it better than Valve Index?

Quest Pro is not for gaming.
Index is.

Quest Pro is indeed superior... better display, better lens and if I'm not wrong it has facial/eye tracking... the battery is bad too (it is not intended to use to gaming).
The video inputs are different too... you can use Quest Pro as a gaming VR but it won't so easy as using a VR made for gaming like Index.

Some experts will say Quest Pro is a Mixed Reality Device (you will see a mix of real and artificial) while the Index is a Virtual Reality Device (you see the game/artificial). Overall talking about games only... Index is easier to setup but Quest Pro has better image quality due to being a better device (display, lens, etc).

I should wait the new Quest for gaming that will probably cost less than $1500 and the sucessor of the Index before take a decision.

Imagine being excited for VR in a car game and acting like you've never been in a car before... IGN os so dumb these days. These people must never driven a car in real life or are too stupid to recieve a driving license.

I will never understand why sports video games like Football, Basketball, Soccer and so on exist... you can easily go do that in real life and not have to play pretend. I think racing games is the only exception because you can do some crazy stuff in a racing game that otherwise would get you killed in real life.

Regardless - looks like they did a good job with the VR portion, but I wish GT7 wasn't a crossgen title. It could of looked soo much better.
Is this a joke or...

Buying a new house in a few months, this is the first thing that goes in the man cave (after the finances recovery from the initial purchase).
Grats on the house purchase. I have a real estate license so it's always exciting too see people buy stuff in the market.

A bit off topic but how many bedrooms/bath and square footage and what state? I am a South Floridian Realtor.

Where it’s at.
Looks really amazing,

Never played Vr before, most of the shots i see of people are standing up and flapping their arms around like pigeons.

This most be pretty amazing if you have one of those sit-in chairs with the wheel etc, I don't drive etc because of my really bad eyes, to be able to do that must be an incredible experience.
Driving is one of those things in life that a person either adores or simply endures. Nobody is really inbetween.

My dad LOVED driving and had some crazy cars before I was born, like an MG-B that he had put a Ford Cobra V-8 into that scared the living shit out of everyone who rode in it or tried to drive it.

My mom was the kind of person who’d plan her routes to never have to make left turns, even if it meant quadrupling the time a trip took, and was white-knuckling it the whole time.

I’m glad I took after dad, although it would be nice to have the thousands in speeding tickets I racked up over the years back!

My excitement for VR was at 99% just for games like re8 and the walking dead... but after gt7 announcement it pass the 100% bar like nothing. I won't be buying anything else for the feasible future.

Kaz just give me the castrol nsx and I will sell my soul

I'm in Canada and we have not moved down south yet. Hopefully the cold snap this weekend will bring my GF to reason 😬.

4 beds and 2 baths... Size will depend on the price and interest rate 😐
