My son a tally just said he would go back to play it.If you've got darksiders 2 for PS4 there's a free upgrade to the ps5 version , dunno why they skipped a warmarstered native ps5 version
Great game , the sequel was a huge disappointment the semi open world destroys the horrorI'm just wrapping up The Evil Within.
As it's October, I've been sticking to horror titles mostly. I think I'll give Mundaun a try after this one.
Yeah, I've heard the sequel is pretty divisive. I've heard people praise it over the first, and others suggest the open world is a detriment, like you have.Great game , the sequel was a huge disappointment the semi open world destroys the horror
It ruins it , plus the photograph guy is a really shitty boss it wasn't scary at allYeah, I've heard the sequel is pretty divisive. I've heard people praise it over the first, and others suggest the open world is a detriment, like you have.
The thick nightmarish vibe is missing in the 2nd one. Agree the 1st on is something special. Sequel just a horror game.It ruins it , plus the photograph guy is a really shitty boss it wasn't scary at all
The matches were a nice nod to RE1 for sure.I thought The Evil Within 1 and 2 were great games. TEW 2 is better visually, gameplay/combat wise and performs better but it's missing the vibe/tone of TEW as well as the puzzles/traps and the light match mechanic which I liked in the first game.

I just finished The Evil Within about 30 mins ago. Overall a decent survival horror. Second half of the game and particularly the final fight were a bit overwhelming, but not too bad.
I think I'll hold the sequel until next Halloween season.
Performance aside, how are you liking Hellblade 2? I've got it wish listed, and enjoyed the first game. The stutter struggle is legit and hugely distracting in Hellblade 2 on PC. New areas always produce a noticeable hitch. Consoles so much better
Just finished it. It’s lesser of a game than the 1st, less combat, simpler combat, no lose scenario. It’s really an art house interactive story if I were to surmise it.Performance aside, how are you liking Hellblade 2? I've got it wish listed, and enjoyed the first game.
