lol damn! I liked that part though, it shows his softer side and that he was too abandoned as a child, thus will save those that are abandoned (tear rolls down cheek)
I made it to kamurocho last night and finished chapter 6 so things are picking up now. I'm glad I stuck with it! I know someone who stopped playing within the first couple hours because they had the same complaints I did, but it gets much better as it goes.

I played Assassin's Creed Odyssey a few weeks back and thought the series wasn't for me anymore, I used to love it during the Xbox 360/PS3 gen, but I started Rogue this afternoon and I'm really enjoying it. I guess up until Unity is where I draw a line.

In Silent Hill 2 I made it to the Historical Society, and in Operation Raccoon City I bought the dlc and made it to Spec Ops mission 4. I'm enjoying all these games.

True, I'm happy you are sticking to it, its a great game.

Its hard to say with AC just like its hard to say for FF titles. Because every title is different, they each have a lot of fans. So I couldn't even say yes or no to something if they asked to avoid some title in the series or something lol for all I know, they end up loving that one or something. I didn't care for Rogue, but I liked Odyssey and if there ever was a game that needed a remaster for PS5 and Series X, its Unity.

Yeah true I might give Odyssey another shot or go to Syndicate or Origins. Unity was the latest one I completed. I just really enjoy the sailing in Rogue, the story and setting, collectables etc.

Finished Silent Hill 2. One of my favourite games now. Doing Dead Space and maybe Deadly Premonition Director's Cut before I move onto SH3

Still playing disgea 6. I know people didn't like the auto battle system, but it makes grinding alot easier. Also tried out the valkyrie elysium demo. I enjoyed it and will probably pick it up once it comes out.

Jak II. Apparently I'm 35% of the way through. Just killed the first boss. It's great

I'm giving Ghostwire Tokyo another shot because I feel I didn't really give it a fair go the first time.

45% of the way through Jak II now. It can be pretty unforgiving with checkpoints

Terminator: Resistance Enhanced. Graphics are not that great but it nails the feeling of the parts of the films in the future...

After this I will go on to Ghostwire Tokyo.

2 kinda wildcard games I picked.

It's not a bad game. It just didn't give me a great first impression, but I dismissed it too quickly. I'm on chapter 2 and it's still explaining stuff, so it's slow to get going. The city is very nice and I like the cat convenience store owners. It's a little strange. There are a tonne of collectables if you're into that kind of thing.

I remember some of the reviews saying that... Hopefully it will click but it's no huge loss if it doesn't.

The thing that put me off initially was the combat

Ha, yeah it looks a bit odd... I do wonder how it will feel.

Gaming is so dependent on guns and that typical feedback loop that I don't really know what to expect or if it will be satisfying.

Making decent progress in disgaea 6. Also almost finally done with the ace attorney trilogy. I've only got one and a half cases left.

I've spent a few hours with it now and it's kinda like FarCry in Tokyo.

Restarted Steel Rising as I made it easier than I was expecting. With the assist options, I now have everything set to default with the only assist being me keeping the Anima Essence when dying. Around 9 hours in and I have died at least 5 times which is already more than my previous play-through. Enjoying the game more now than I was before. It's challenging but not to where im constantly dying and getting frustrated so I have a real good balance here which makes me happy!! :)

Just finished the Terminator: Resistance Enhanced... basic enough looking game but really has the feel of being in the future war and links nicely into the films.

If you love the first 2 films, I think you'll like it.

Also just 3 trophies away from Platinum...so it's an easy enough one.

Cant decide which game to play next.... Deathloop, Ghostwire or one of the other games in the backlog.
