Want it on PS5. But it's going to get the digital tax treatment for being digital only. These pubs and devs want to avoid the physical tax, well so be it. They're more than happy with Epic's money, which is responsible for distribution and hence digital only.No physical release sucks but i got it for $40 on PC so I said why not

Surprised how much I liked BG3 and Spiderman 2 felt like a huge step up from Insomniac. I was so and so on the original
Other than that I got Street Fighter 6 and Hogwarts. Wouldn't consider either GOTY calibre to me
Haven't played any Nintendo games
Might check out AW2 and Lies of P when I finally finish BG3

Spiderman is nothing new. I prefer Starfield since it's space RPG.Starfield over Spider-Man is hilarious

Starfield isn't even an RPG. You get zero impactful decisions, none of the writing makes any sense, it's boring as fuck, the story has no payoff, you have zero agency. The only thing "RPG" in it is that you have stats and levels. Your actions don't affect the outcome at all.

You can't convince me to dislike a game because you dislike it. I don't care about the story. I care about going to planets and discovering plants, animals, etc.. Don't care about whether my actions change the story or not as I always play games 1 time before putting them on the shelf.
So your game of the year is to "discover" a couple dozen different species and like 50 different kinds of plants that are copy-pasted across 1000 planets? But you just said you liked it because it was a space RPG
It's ok to simply admit that you're a fanboy and don't play any games besides the ones prescribed by the xbox marketing team.

Nah RE4 Remake shouldn’t receive nomination, it’s still a remake at the end of the day. Hogwarts Legacy should take its spot.
But RE2 Remake got a nom for goty in 2019, and FF7 Remake got one in 2020 (although I guess it's debatable whether that's really a remake)

Because 2019 was dry, FF7Remake is hardly a remake lol, it’s a “reimagining”. I think it’s so different that it makes sense to receive nominations. But games that are mostly 1:1 with slight improvements like RE and Demon’s Souls shouldn’t be nominated.
If I'm an Xbox fanboy because I like the games (actually don't have an Xbox but a high-end PC) that come out on it, then so be it. Call me whatever you want. As long as I can call you a Sony fanboy for liking every single exclusive that comes out for it. I have all the PS-exclusives on my PC AND HFW on my PS5. They are all good games, but so are some games that come on the Xbox/PC.
It's really not that hard to just like *games* in general regardless of platform.
