For those that hate Sony, What made you feel the way you do about them?

Yeah, there is a ban list on GAF and, especially recently, a lot of Sony diehards are being banned. It is most definitely a fact.

The actual reason I was perma banned there is because I made a thread exposing one of the mods that tried to blackmail me via private message.

BTW if you think Carl or Starsomething that were as fan of Xbox as I’m to Sony could be mods then you really don’t understand the issue there at time (I don’t know today because there are over a decade that happened and I don’t go there anymore).

I’m not a person that should be fit to be a mod due my bias but so others that are like me should not be too due exactly the same reason.

PS. You can ask Axumblade (the mod head at time) that I did never complained about my bans there… in fact I thought it was worth bans so I did not played the innocent card.

Sony is criticized all the time even by own fans even when is frequently releasing games and it is fine in forums
Microsoft got criticized because they do anything related to games in a over a decade and it become a rage by Xbox fans and it is not allowed by their bubble circle.

Yet you, Lognor, Bernd and many more, are still there.... Some of you were banned more than once, and yet no perm, while some Sony fans get a perm as a first ban for debatable posts. Hell, Craig had to have a meltdown thread before being banned permanently.

Also, I think many of the more toxic Sony fans are originally X360 fanboys who didn't have a problem switching sides during the past generation and taking their bad internet habits with them, as that was the attitude they got used to from Xbox.

man that game came out when I was in highschool, lol. like I said, people have short term memory. there are some hardcore gamers alive that weren't even born when that game came out.

I'm the first to laugh at, and love 3rd party exclusives. I like the differentiation in platforms. Exclusives and gloating about them are fun as heck to me, call me petty i don't care.

I'm just saying objectively it looks like Sony is being very heavy handed with exclusives and exclusive content even for the most negligible of things, and that has pissed off a ton of people. Primarily Xbox users, but also PC. How do you think they feel when they see FF16 revealed for the PC platform, but then Sony slaps a 2-year exclusivity window on it after the fact, and scrubs all subsequent mention of a PC version from all the marketing materials?

for me as a switch user primarily, there is nothing i feel sony is purposefully "taking away" from us. Xbox fans have a laundry list though, lol. If Sony were to buy Square-Enix then I'd be pissed.

Acting like Sony is some choir-boy is disingenuous, though. They've been a fierce competitor and have landed a few low-blows on the competition over the years.

Exclusives is good for the industry and beneficiary to gamers no matter if gamers like that or not.

BTW it is the same for any industry… if you don’t have exclusives you don’t have need for different platform and so there is competition.

The market needs competition, needs exclusives and that only beneficial to the consumer.

How is it my fault that the last time that MS was somewhat competitive you were in highschool?

As I explained, MS tried moneyhats even when they had the smaller market share and it blew in their faces (Tomb Raider and Titanfall are great example of how moneyhats don't work with a smaller market share).

I don't get how just pointing out that MS always done it and were even way more aggressive with it than Sony is relates to anyone saying Sony is some choir-boy. Times exclusives just make sense when the vast majority of copies for game like FFVIIR, FFXVI or Forespoken would be sold on their platform anyway.

If Xbox fans cared about those games, maybe they should've bought more copies of the previous entries instead of begging for those games to be included on Gamepass.

yeah man, getting skipped on 3rd party games, having to beg for scraps and tweet developers for port confirmation, rumor and speculation-mongering, searching Linkedin for new CVs that hint towards Xbox game development,hyping CGI trailers and vaporware not yet even in active development, looking across the aisle and seeing MS lavish PC gamers with all your games + dedicated PC exclusives, and seeing the other two console manufacturers duke it out for who can make the most 90+ metacritic games and get the most GOTY awards, all while you play Forza for the umpteenth year in a row, and scroll through the garbageware on gamepass.

I think he is talking how MS threat their fans… it is really all promises over promises… so Xbox fans are always upset and instead of blaming MS they blame Sony fans or Sony in general.
