I never saw this sound in any PS5.

I already saw the disc reading sound when playing disc games (I had the ugly PS5 until middle 2021) but it is nowhere near what your PS5 does.

There is definitely something wrong in your PS5.

Tbh it’s pretty dusty but iirc it’s always been loud. To be fair I just moved it upstairs today so it didn’t boot in rest mode or whatever.

Did you get it around launch? I remember launch PS5s had certain ones that had a different fan model that was a little louder than the others... if you care so much open that shit up and see what's wrong with it, some people iirc said it was due to a tag on the fan cable

I apologize for having doubts about your PS5 because I never hear (even in videos on YT) a PS5 so loud as yours.

Even the disc coin whine is not loud at all.
