FFXVI just barely hanging on in 20th when it had only eight days in the month before is pretty weak, can't imagine Square is truly happy with this
Entire Final Fantasy franchise has sold 180 million copies with over a hundred games in total while Skyrim has sold 60 million by itself. Hell, Fallout 4 sold more in a day (12 million) than FFXV did in five and a half years (10 million)!
Reckon this will have a chance of dethroning Cyberpunk as the highest CCU peak on Steam (1m) for a single player game due to the hype and Steam's growth in the past years.
That's not an answer to my question of how PS would be kingmaker for this game long after it has already sold millions and generated hype on PC and gamers have already moved on to Starfield.
How will PlayStation be a "kingmaker" for this title when it was the PC audience that bought it in the millions at launch and generated the hype that FOMO'd the PS audience?
