Better than current Sony that just wants to leech from PlayStation and use it to get into other markets. Apple seems to handle their TV business well.
Apple is also pretty inoffensive with their hardware they are pretty easy to ignore if you are not into them.
Any company that actually believes in the traditional console market and sees value in PlayStation would be better than current Sony run by a bunch of accountants with no vision.

I don't give a shit if somebody else rather have an iPhone over an Android or a Mac over a Windows PC.
Who do you think is manufacturing PlayStation? The same Foxconn that makes iPhones, wake up. PlayStation is also a closed ecosystem where Sony charges 30%, charges for basic features and rule according to their will, not very different in nature from the Apple stuff.
I dislike Google, I despise MS and I am unbothered by Apple. I can easily live my life in peace without ever having to buy anything from Apple, the same is not true when it comes to Google and MS, I'm pretty much forced into using their products unless I'm willing to be fired.
Of all the big tech companies Apple is by far the most harmless.
Only Apple hardware I ever owned was an iPod. When I had to develop for iPhones I actually used Linux instead of a Mac. Considered getting a M1 Mac when it released but passed. I don't give a shit about phone, if I did maybe I would've considered getting an Iphone, people seem to really like them.
