I kept flying through some in the second galaxy and unlocked some triangle levels.

That actually is the top selling list for all of 2024. Astrobot has already sold more than college football has on Amazon, and college football sold more than Helldivers 2 in total.That's not what it means but if that gets people talking and hype then it's good
I don't know why you guys are setting that game up and then when NPD drops this won't be the case lol. The list is about real time sales, it's simply outselling College Football currently.
I know we all want this to be true but it's just not possible.
CF is at 8k+ now, Astrobot must be higher at 10k+ but the PS5 version of CF was at 30k+ last month and the xbox version 9k+.
Do you think Astrobot sold 40k+ in 1 day? Even Rebirth was at 20k+ back in February (estimated to have sold between 35k-40k before release) and it's not even on the list for best-selling. Rebirth continued to sell 40k+ since release, it must be at 60k+ by now. That ranking makes no sense.

Why? These are extremely shallow ps1 games. You run around and press the net button. I can’t see it catching anyone attention nowadays. You have great memories because you chased monkeys on ps1 as a little kid. Leave it at that
Also don’t think Astrobot will take the #1 spot for September NPD. There are two sports title out in September NBA 2k25 which just released and EA Sports FC 25 later during the month. FC 25 most likely will top the chart but Astrobot will chart regardless. Will be great if Astrobot cracks the top 10 though.
I wouldn't hold my breath for it.

Unless Sony's and Playstation's management will change, i see no hope.
I recently played the first game again on PS5, and outside of presentation and technical limits, it was a perfectly fine game still.
Add new gadgets and make some new cool puzzles to find and catch the apes.
