Especially with casuals and if it launches at $399.I don't think it will be that easy to move a lot of people from Switch 1 to Switch 2

oh definetly, i can see all third party publishers adapting and porting most of their games to this new device, it'll have a more similar architecture to modern consoles like PS5 and Xbox Series, it'll have DLSS support too so developers will for sure make games for itSwitch 2’s 3rd party support will be bigger than the Switch that’s for sure.
"not everything should be injected with competition"....he says on a thread about "dominating" So now dominating has nothing to do with competition, you guys need to stop being disingenuous....The guy is trying to praise nintendo, to speak about it.
Not everything should be injected with competition or dick measuring.
You can speak about it and not takes shots about others, 2 aren't mutually exclusive.
Nah i'm just speaking facts.... don't shoot the messenger. He’s just trying to talk sh**t.
completely different generations, proposals and timings, Switch 2 will not be a failure because Nintendo found the perfect model for them, the hybrid model, all they need to do moving forward is more powerful Switch consoles every 8 years and put a number 2 or number 3 on them, they'll have more third party support than they ever had, the only really big thing they'll miss is a game like GTA 6, but even GTA 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2 will end up on Switch 2, Rockstar would be dumb to leave 100M potential userbase on the tableI already set buying it day one whatever the outcome but remember…
Wii … Wii U
DS … 3DS
SNES … N64
Nintendo is not always good with successor… I believe only NES to SNES was really successful.
Clearly, with Nintendo you have no guarantees.I already set buying it day one whatever the outcome but remember…

Color TV outsold every other pong-clone in Japan, it was the market leader and in no sense a failure. Nintendo really was a game company back then, to achieve over a million sales in a market with under 100 million people with a new "toy" is awesome.Clearly, with Nintendo you have no guarantees.
They're capable of the best (G&W, NES, GB, GBA, DS, Wii, Switch) as well as the worst (Color TV, SNES, N64, GBC, NGC, 3DS, Wii U).
Otherwise, even the NES (61.91M) > SNES (49.1M) transition wasn't as good, they have declined from gen to gen.

I believe it will really pay off this time…completely different generations, proposals and timings, Switch 2 will not be a failure because Nintendo found the perfect model for them, the hybrid model, all they need to do moving forward is more powerful Switch consoles every 8 years and put a number 2 or number 3 on them, they'll have more third party support than they ever had, the only really big thing they'll miss is a game like GTA 6, but even GTA 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2 will end up on Switch 2, Rockstar would be dumb to leave 100M potential userbase on the table
I don't have faith in them calling it Switch 2.completely different generations, proposals and timings, Switch 2 will not be a failure because Nintendo found the perfect model for them, the hybrid model, all they need to do moving forward is more powerful Switch consoles every 8 years and put a number 2 or number 3 on them, they'll have more third party support than they ever had, the only really big thing they'll miss is a game like GTA 6, but even GTA 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2 will end up on Switch 2, Rockstar would be dumb to leave 100M potential userbase on the table
I am confused. I thought the thread was about Nintendo; how did it suddenly divert to Sony being in trouble so fast?
At least @Etifilio is putting some effort into disguising his doom posting; he gets a 7/10 for the effort, but yours is a 1/10 ffs.
At least wait ten minutes and allow someone else to mention Sony before you go balls deep.
I believe it won’t even have Switch in the name… seems like they learned that Wii U name made people think it was a new Wii modelI don't have faith in them calling it Switch 2.
It will be something like Super Switch or Switch Next
I already set buying it day one whatever the outcome but remember…

Just like 3DS… it was a name that make people believe it was a DS model.
Yeah. They’ll be in for a rude awakening when the most anticipated game ever will be on PS5 and not the Switch.
