Keep in mind the original Xbox launched in the middle of the month, too, so Series being roughly the same with a whole month to track is even worse than it looks on the surface.Xbox tracking just above original Xbox November numbers. Can't be good. Probably not that far off Dreamcast either.
PS5 tracking above PS2.

I actually thought the Marathon announcement was very cool but it was surrounded with Concord (wobbly burger), which showed nothing and other games I didn't really care about like Fair Games.... all of them had no gameplay. If they had Marathon with two other big first party games with some gameplay in each, I would have been ecstatic but it was delivered poorly.
We actually don't need Concord and Fair Games at all until well after Marathon, we dont even need to know about them. They need to just focus on one great shooter and have everyone focus on that. Releasing 3 competing with each other is stupid.
It's really confusing to me and makes me worry about who is planning these things.
This Gibson guy is always looking to downplay PS5 sales and Takashi Bloomberg uses him as a source. Too many haters.

lol i completely forgot about fairgames, that's how forgettable it was, and its a "1st party game"
. Marathon might be good, but that's not really a win for PS console users, nor will it drive console sales, its a game that was gonna be released anyway and will be on Xbox/PC. Supporting the potato is a great use of Sony's resources 
I have no patience for online shooters anymore, but like you say revealing 3 competing games at the same time is stupid. But hopefully that means Fairgames will be more like payday and not a traditional shooter. Fairgames/Concord being shown without gameplay was stupid and releasing day/date on PC is a huge mistake that only further diminishes the brand and results in a worse product.
Both Fairgames and concord have a bunch of dislikes and the comments are just roasting them. I don't want them to flop, but I'm 90% sure they both will.

How about wait for a proper gameplay trailer? You CAN'T judge an UNRELEASED game by a CGI trailers!!!

It's their own fault these games are starting off on bad foot. Maybe release a proper trailer the first time around and that won't happen.
The thing about Alan Wake II possibly bombing that a lot of people are overlooking is the simple fact that it is a VERY late sequel to a platform-exclusive original that the mainstream quickly moved on from and forgot.
