Remedy games are too "weird" for mainstream audiences. I loved Control but most others didn't like it sadly.
I do wish their games sold a lot more.
They also criticized Sony for working on marvel ips. Look how wet they are for blade and indiana
It's always the same with them but it all boils down to that they want Xbox to be where PlayStation is and they will say anything to diminish or trick people into thinking PlayStation is doing things wrong.
They were pushing hard along with the PC folks to port PlayStation games to PC because they knew the damage it did to Xbox and were hoping it would bring PS down to their level.
Stupid release date. What were they thinking.
No physical version.

Might get it when it hits 25 pounds. Im not paying 50 pounds.
Best for remedy d be for sony to buy them. They ll finally fix their controls and gameplay while getting marketing machine behind. They have some cool ideas but there s always something missing in their games. At least for me.

Great reviews among journalists but word of mouth isn't that good. I've seen most people saying it's a bit boring and too much "out there".
I don't understand where this comes from. I do remember hearing a few detractors crap on it when it came out because for some reason, they expected a RE4 clone action game and were met with a slow detective mystery. However, this is literally the first 2 chapters or so. Once it shifts gears, I see many having a hard time putting the game down.
Too much "out there" makes no sense to me either unless you mean the meta bit? Even the dance number which ironically pushed the game to GOTY status for most makes sense in a narrative sense.
Ultimately, the game selling the way it is all on Epic. Crowded season, no physical, barely any marketing, epic exclusive etc etc.
Hopefully, with time the game will continue selling. Nonetheless, it desperately needs a physical edition and a Steam release.

I also think this is fine… what was anyone expecting. AW is way more niche than anything remedy has made. I’ll def give it a go at bargain bin price in a year or two.

He meant components issue last year caused havoc when they got better in November after the whole year having bad production due them.
It should not be a issue anymore with January comparisons because the componente issue was normalized.
