If the game is as good as its opening hour, then Zelda has no chance. The media can have their biases, but fans will remember 2023 as the year of Final Fantasy XVI.

Not worth it imo. I played it and I'd just wait for the full game. Playing around with 3 eikons available is fun but i feel like i wanna experience organically getting those skills because it was a little overwhelming trying to learn them all at once and i ended up just spamming abilities and not getting much out of it mechanically

The second part of the demo surprised me. I don't know why they included it. Show all abilities?

Probably because they knew the prologue would be light on gameplay for some

That's what I figured out, the main part of the demo work because it's the begging of the game.

Amazon is saying they'll deliver mine on June 22 so It's just a little more than a week to wait.

Well based on the demo, I would say not much of a chance. Game is still cool, but I would strongly, strongly, doubt it.

Like really strongly.

This game could be a legit 93 on metacritic and zelda will still win the Keighly award.

The industry just has its set biases and narratives alreaddy carved in stone, it either needs to be a big win for nintendo this year or xbox

I'm waiting for them to release the prelude/crystal theme remix. The driving beat and the tone/key shift from the classic theme has been stuck in my head all day
