Like I said it is feee advertising for PUBG on PS4. People see the bundle advertisement... go to store... ask about it and realize they can buy it on PS4... they don’t need the XB1 bundle.

MS had a whole year (including a holiday period) to bundle and market PUBG with Xbox One but choose to do it when the game finally released on PS4.
It was MS doing free marketing for PS4 version.

Anyone else notice that on resetera its a perma bannable offense to critize microsoft? The zealots and Microsoft employs posing as message board posters are allowed to say whatever they want, gang up on one the one poster that has a good response, and then after awhile the mods ban the dissent. Ive observed this pattern numerous times. There articles about microsoft being sued because the deal seemed like a coordinated way to bail bobby kotick out and im seeing a walstreet journal article talking about activision blizzards stocks falling because of the ftc potentially blocking the deal, but no where to be found in Idas' thread.

Even the modx tried to attack the politico article,xbox fans have charte blanche there,in the adquisition thread you have the same six or seven guys attacking anyone Who are againts the deal

I think thats just era trying to balance out the fan bases on that site. For a while era was sony central and dudes in other camps felt alienated. But whatever that site will always try to over think things.

How do you balance fan bases exactly? I mean there is probably more PS fans than Nintendo or Xbox fans.
That is a market thing... there is no way to force a balance imo.

It is the same if you enter in a Xbox or PS or Nintendo focused forum... it will have more fans of that platform.
Like Steam forum have more fans of PC than consoles.

Of course, there will be like 12 sony concern threads littering the front page on any given day on era and no one says anything. The moment someone calls out Microsoft or is critical of them in anyway the mods move swiftly.

Its not really platform warring to say Microsoft hasn’t had the best studio management, its why there are so many years they don’t release any major games. It’s also relevant for the fact that at the moment they have 23 studios, more than any other publisher.

They don’t NEED Activision blizzard, they simply want them. They should have no problem being competitive with nintendo and sony with what they have. They don’t want to be competitive though they want pure dominance through acquisitions

icon era is a perfect example of how you balance it out on a site. Dudes eventually leave and find more dedicated forums. even iconera might come to that fork in the road eventually, some groups are going to get more moderated at some point.

I'm not fighting for Sony, I'm fighting for my rights (and yours, believe it or not) as a consumer.
