GT7 is just trailing behind GT3 to become the biggest Gran Turismo ever in dollar sales, and the biggest game in the franchise.

Seems there is a misunderstanding. I just meant it's amazing how GT3 sold that much compared to GT4 which is a vastly superior game. I never mentioned GT7.
Hell, Sony should have released it in 2007 for the PS3 and it would still look pretty decent. There are modders on PC that did wonders with that game on PCSX2.

GT4 should have been a PS3 launch title.
Instead we had to 3 years for GT5.
GT3 is.
1. GT3
2. GTS
3. GT5
4. GT4
5. GT1
Whatever GT7 is along the TOP5 is still to know but it very likely it is.
I don't consider late 2004 / early 2005 late PS2 cycle. Sales for the franchise simply went back to normal with GT4. Sales has remained in that vall park since with the exception being GT6 for obvious reasons.
GT4 was delayed though? It was meant to be out earlier. Delaying it to a PS3 launch title would have been catastrophic for the franchise sales wise.
Maybe because there was a good bundle with GT3 and PS2?
Maybe most the players already had GT3 and didnt bother with another racer?
Buyers like me werent huge Racing fans, so GT3 was enough and there was so many other games, so I didnt bother with GT4.

I never got into those games but I'm willing to give it a try.
If you like platfomers. They first is great. If you like a little something different. Jak 2 was great. Its ND lol.
Overall out of Ratchet, Sly And Jak games. I like Jak n Daxter the most, Sly 2nd. But I enjoy RnClank too, especially the last one
Who is gonna make a Jak game? Naughty Dog definitely can't. Insomniac can't touch it.
Only dev I can think of is Sumo Digital since Ready at Dawn is no more and I think they did the Daxter game.
Many never mention that the first Jak game never had a single load screen once the actual game started

Bring in my man Bruce Straley and his studio after he finishes his next game. Plus Sumo, former Japan studios/Cerny. Get Asobi to help. The guys that did TLOU1 Remake. Just give the guy a team and make it work lol. Sumo by themselves arent good enough.

Bruce already tried making a Jak 4 all along with Naughty Dog and it couldn't work. I also doubt he would want to work on a Naughty Dog intellectual property.
Sumo Digital is great, the Sackboy big adventure team is amazing, y'all slept on them lol.
I could see Ember Lab maybe pulling it off but they're a super small & I dunno if they're even working with Sony anymore?
