the new CEO should completely reconsider releasing singleplayer games on PC, Nixxes should've been working on PS3 backwards compatibility, something that would actually benefit PS5 owners and would bring games that are still stuck on that console like the Sly franchise, Infamous and many others

they should provide a Cloud version for PC when the game comes to PS Plus instead of porting them natively, that way, people are obligated to subscribe to PS Plus Premium instead of pirating their games

Kidding aside, very good numbers. All the gameplay looks like a blast, seems like Arrowhead really nailed the Starship Troppers inspirations in gaming form. Now it's just about making sure the servers stay up and whatever performance issues some of the reviews complained about are fixed over the weekend.

You can thank their staff, admin, and moderators for helping to foster that type of trepidation around anything that isn't Xbox (but especially with most things that are PlayStation). Most of the blame falls on them.

Tbh y'all are celebrating way too early. While it's necessary and good to have strong launch sales, whether the game is a success will come down to how strong post-launch support is. That will be the determining factor in seeing whether sony gets it or not. That said I'm having a lot of fun so far so it looks promising. Tbh letting word of mouth carry the game rather than a big traditional marketing push seems to have been the right call so that would be an indication that Sony does know what it's doing.

If you talked about Helldivers 2 doing this a fortnight ago you'd be laughed out of the room. The only description being used for it's sales potential was "sent to die"

It's just kinda how Steam works imo. Players see the player count going up and start looking into it and it snowballs from there. This is part of why I love Steam. It's not just a platform for games but its a community.
