And? No one is pretending psp and vita sales are home console sales.
And? Why does it matter? Nintendo has been the one able to sell the most console for a while now.
Wrong. Sony has whipped their ass for home consoles for the last 30 years. It’s why they quit making them and consolidated their business to handheld.
Switch isn’t a home console. End of story.
Seems like you can't face the reality that Nintendo sells more consoles than Sony, so you need to find a way to frame it so you can claim Sony is on top when it comes to console sales.
The reality is that handhelds are not home consoles. Sorry if I don’t subscribe to the same stupidity you do.
Parents will buy a switch for each kid in the house. There is no external hardware needed. No TV. They are completely different devices with different demographics.

Sony is selling more consoles between those two, because Sony has one.

Either way Switch sales are insane but if we are categorizing I'd categorize it as a handheld as well. That has helped them sell alot more than if it was a traditional console.

PS2 total software sales are around 1.5 billion give or take and the DS total is around 950 million...
Even the PS3 sold more software than the DS.
Switch is a console, its a hybrid console. But the Switch lite is a handheld, so I think it's fair to subtract the ~20m Switch Lite's from the Switch's overall count. So it's not remotely close to the PS2.

yep not even close. Nintendo fanboys can argue that the Switch is a console, but no one can argue that the Switch Lite is, it's a pure handheld. So either way, they look silly. Switch as a console is barely doing better than the PS4.
