I spent some time revisiting Microsoft's past statements regarding cloud gaming and the incredible opportunity it presents.
It's not about "who's selling more consoles", Spencer said. Yet Microsoft protest to the CMA that Sony has a larger console market share. And when the CMA take their "incredible competitive advantage" in cloud computing seriously, with the ultimate goal of reaching 3 billion gamers, Microsoft are no longer sure if such a market exists.
Cloud gaming market? Never heard of it. lol
Edit: And we have The Verge, Windows Central and other Xbox evangelists who have been hyping up Microsoft's cloud plans for years, abruptly begin dismissing the technology and downplaying Microsoft's own plans.
