24th of July is when the main hearings starts. MS were not happy about that and were trying to change his mind the last I heard.Did the judge give a specific date for July or just vague July?
Judge probably set the earliest possible date that is feasible. Can't see him suddenly decide in a few weeks in the next hearing in june "oh we are pushing it too an earlier date", when CMA will set their schedule based on that date.I hope the judge sticks with his ruling. It's not fair to the cma to make the time frame shorter than that.
@Dodkrake probably will when he's not busy. Can someone please give a summery of what has happened? and what is expected etc etc
So he thought the schedule was going to be before July 18th? Lol. No point in posting his lies and spin any further.Let's see what the resident clown is saying.

It's a wrap: almost 4 hours.
CMA is losing!I
I know that countless questions were asked. Please let me first get something to eat. I even had to rebook a flight to be in front of my computer in time for the hearing. I can't answer a huge number of questions individually. But I'll try in the coming days to take a look at what questions were interesting enough to warrant some follow-up. I will do a blog post, probably tomorrow, about the hearing, too. That may effectively also answer some questions. For now, I'm exhausted but pleased to see that rationality will soon prevail. And I'm excited to see the court going out of its way to adjudicate this matter swiftly, fairly, efficiently. The CMA's performance could hardly have been more disappointing. What MSFT said about their 500 pages of legal authorities shows that the CMA just wants to ABUSE the wide discretion it enjoys under the "Judicial Review" standard. But the hearing also showed that if the CAT identifies major errors, it can and will correct them. The CMA cannot possibly be interested in the hearing going forward (which is, more than tentatively though not 100% definitively, planned for late July and early August). It's going to be a major disaster for the CMA. They should figure out a solution between now and July 18 (the key date under the merger agreement).
If he's saying the CMA is losing, then it's actually winning.Let's see what the resident clown is saying.

The people in his comments are saying the CMA lawyer was styled all over by Microsofts one and they looked like clueless amateurs. If he's saying the CMA is losing, then it's actually winning.

Pretty predictable stuff.Same as in Resetera.. but they were saying Activisions lawyer destroyed the CMA... typical stuff from the pack of hyenas in that thread (pro acquisition / corporate boot lickers)
Just like in his other posts, its all replies from bots and shill accounts with barely any followers. No one important cares about what he thinks. The people in his comments are saying the CMA lawyer was styled all over by Microsofts one and they looked like clueless amateurs.
What did they say exactly?I do find it interesting how displeased MS reportedly were with the scheduled date and mentioned that the deal was at risk if they didn't start the hearings before their July 18th deadline.
