Dodkrake would be able to say more once he has time. I just hear that they didn't like the July 24th starting date because it's after their final deadline for the deal. What did they say exactly?

Well, tough luck.I do find it interesting how displeased MS reportedly were with the scheduled date and mentioned that the deal was at risk if they didn't start the hearings before their July 18th deadline.
Well, let them pay abk more money and extend the date.Dodkrake would be able to say more once he has time. I just hear that they didn't like the July 24th starting date because it's after their final deadline for the deal.
Too early to say, but MS supposedly aren't very happy about the starting date the judge set. Then again the CMA legal team didn't do a very good job and they'll definitely need to improve by the next hearing.Who is more dead now : CMA or MS?
With this decision it already went past the deadline set in the MS/Activision contract and Actvisions is seemingly getting cold feet. If they refuse to extend the deadline, it's dead. This is going through eventually.
What's the deadline? Does this mean they'll have to pay up the 3 Billion? With this decision it already went past the deadline set in the MS/Activision contract and Actvisions is seemingly getting cold feet. If they refuse to extend the deadline, it's dead.

Nope. It’s dead,This is going through eventually.
It goes back to the CMA, which will block the deal demanding structural remedies.Whats the worst case scenario if CAT rules in favor of MS? Deal is passed or it still goes back to the CMA?
July 18th. MS and Activision can renegotiate the deal but it seems Activision is looking at other options. If they don't get the deal done by then, and with this decision they can't, MS is required to pay up. If MS and activision decide to extend the deadline, then things keep going they way they are until the next deadline. What's the deadline? Does this mean they'll have to pay up the 3 Billion?

I brought it up earleir in the thread but if the Comcast CEO is openly talking about buying ABK if this deal fails then i think Kotick is making the rounds on new potential buyers. Comcast CEO probably put up a trial balloon to see how the market/stock would react.July 18th. MS and Activision can renegotiate the deal but it seems Activision is looking at other options. However, a renegotiation will probably increase the price MS has to pay for both the acquisition and the fee if th deal falls through.
That's exactly whay I was referencing but couldn't remember who it actually was.I brought it up earleir in the thread but if the Comcast CEO is openly talking about buying ABK if this deal fails then i think Kotick is making the rounds on new potential buyers.
