- PS4 library of exclusives wiped the floor with the Xbox One (as expected).
- DX12 sucks ass and apparently made PC ports all fucked up, stutter everywhere and Xbox hardware seems to punch bellow it's weight.
- Nintendo and Sony consoles all breaking sales records (only Xbox is on a downwards sales trajectory)
- Sony exclusives never sold so well.
- Gamepass subs went nowhere and growth already dried up regardless of how much money MS throws at the problem.
- Xbox Series hardware was a disaster in every way, Cerny and Sony engineering team simply outclassed MS.
- Series S fucking sucked and is only making things harder for Xbox (and the worst is yet to come).
- MS clearly cares about console sales, that is why they hide the numbers and every time Phil Spencer opens his mouth he makes that clear.

Won’t happen. Unlike Microsoft, Sony have a lot to lose by devaluing their console business. The Playstation is Sony’s bread and butter and they aren’t going to sabotage sales of it to sell more software.

Especially on the verge of Xbox really becoming more of a publisher and having less and less interest in hardware.

That is the day I'm done with PlayStation.

I would be fine with PlayStation GaaS releasing on PC but the PC ports of AAA single player games really displease me. There always was something special about a game made only to run on an specific hardware and PC removes that from PlayStation games (now every game is develop with PC in mind and all the limitations from that platform).

As a PC/PlayStation player I loved games like Uncharted 2, Demon's Souls, TLoU, GoW3 that made owning a PS3 feel justified, same with PS4 games (to a lesser extent since soon after all most of those games got ported and the number of exclusives diminished).

Now we are in a situation where I could easily end up regretting buying a game on PlayStation instead of PC due to more powerful PC hardware, better features on PC and portable hardware options like the Steam Deck.
