Sweet Baby Inc detected now with over 205k followers. It's now #8 in the list of most followed curators on Steam.
As it gains traction, this looks like it could become top 3.
How many receipts do you need? Is 5 enough?
ESG score is the financial incentive for executives and managers of videogame devs / publishers (or any other industry, really) to bend the knee for cancel culture.
If there are "news" about how your offices have people who donated to the wrong campaign or showed the wrong opinion about gender ideology / abortion / immigration / etc., you'll get a lower ESG score, namely the "Social" component of "Environmental, Social and Governance".
The ESG score is (or was?) an integral part of how your company is evaluated to get access to credit and investment by the larger investment funds (Blackrock, Vanguard, etc.).
It goes like this:
1 - Hate groups like the Resetera mob find out someone who tweeted something they deem "transphobic" or they put a like on one of JK Rowlings' posts.
2 - The same mob doxxes that person, share their picture workplace online, start sending e-mails to their employer. And then guys who work at Kotaku, Polygon & friends (who are part of the mob) start approaching the managers' offices and marketing teams for "interviews about transphobia in their workplace".
3 - When faced with a possible consequence of investors pulling out or credit scores going down the drain (with loans for short-term payments like salaries getting more expensive), the managers see no other choice but to fire the person.
And if you think this is unbelievable, consider the fact that this is exactly what happened to Kara Lynne from the first link I posted. These hategroups on Resetera can go as far as starting to send threats to the homes of their targets' families. They're relentless.
