Working on TLOU Online plus at least one big unannounced game. They released their last big project less than 3 years ago. Since then released TLOUP1, Legacy of Thieves Collection, their PC ports and movie+tv show adaptations.
Naughty Dog has been a shell of themselves ever since the exodus in early 2014 when Amy Hennig and majority of the Uncharted 3 left. They lost all their multiplayer team as well with that exodus.
They have been more successful than ever since Amy left.
Amy's post ND games (Battlefield Hardline, Forspoken) weren't very successful.
Are you sure that the Uncharted 3 team and their MP team left? I'd bet most of them continue there, and the ones who left did it as part of the typical rotation in any company. Whoever left will have been replaced, now the studio is bigger than ever.
He was creative director of God of War Ragnarok, but was going to pitch Sony a new IP back in summer 2018, which I assume got greenlighted should be shown soonish.
He has announced an Elden Ring DLC and Armored Core VI as I remember
Pretty likely working in GoT2, which may be in too early to be shown. GoT was released less than 3 years ago, and after that they released first the meaty GoT Legends MP mode in late 2020, and later in 2021 they released the Director's Cut/PS5 version/Ikki expansion.
I think they'll announce it next year.
Returnal was released 2 years ago, its PC port a few months ago. After Returnal, they started to work on a AAA new IP, bigger and more ambitious than Returnal. Don't expect to see their next game until at least a couple years more.
All their devs are credited to have worked in GoWR, which was released around half a year ago. Looking at their LinkedIn, at least many people moved to GoWR just after or soon after doing their job in Demon's Souls.
Their boss said that after remasters and later remakes, after Demon's Souls their next step was going to be to work in original content and that was supporting to make GoWR.
After GoWR they started to build a proper game design team, they didn't have enough before to lead their own original AAA games (only had 2 game designers). Unless they hire a big chunk of different types of designers, their next game will be also be working on another new AAA title but in a support role. Starting to hire a complete design team (they take their time with hirings because often hire top, very experienced people) leads to think that in the future -who knows if in time for their current project, I wouldn't bet on it- they will lead their own AAA games.
After Days Gone did help ND in TLOU Online and an Uncharted spinoff until they got greenlighted the new IP they pitched (according to Jason Schreier) in March 2021. They need like a couple years more to show the new IP unless it's with a CG teaser.
