I think as people pointed out, paying forces you to play the game. Yes PC will have the Battlestar Galactica mods in a week, but in 2 weeks only ps5 players will remain, just like we still have battlefield 3 players on ps3.
"Payng forces you to play the game" therefore paid online on console is a good thing, you guys are no different than Xbots, you just happened to be fanboys of a better console.I think as people pointed out, paying forces you to play the game. I am a fan of a much better console, so are 49.9 million others. But learn to read. Where do i say it is a good thing? It is the norm since Neverwiner NIghts costing 5 bucks an hour in 1991."Payng forces you to play the game" therefore paid online on console is a good thing, you guys are no different than Xbots, you just happened to be fanboys of a better console.
The lengths you guys go to justify paid online is laughable.I am a fan of a much better console, so are 49.9 million others. But learn to read. Where do i say it is a good thing? It is the norm since Neverwiner NIghts costing 5 bucks an hour in 1991.

The same devs can release the game on Steam, give 30% to Valve and still have the servers up just fine but on console Sony needs you to pay a monthly fee for that?
Not defending but you have to pay to play online on PS, Xbox and Switch. The lengths you guys go to justify paid online is laughable.

Trust me, at least we are not saying cause it premium, like xbots said in the 360 gen.The lengths you guys go to justify paid online is laughable.

Why not COD, FIFA, Madden, Suicide Squad and the other dozens of mp games? Why stop at Helldivers 2?These Sony multiplayer games which release simultaneously on PS5 and PC should not be behind a paywall on PS5 either.
Simple solution.
Obviously Sony is requiring PSN on PC to increase their MAU numbers.
Many paid multiplayer games release on PC Day 1 and they're all under PS+ or Xbox Live on consoles (literally all of them).
Do you expect them to make an exception for Helldivers 2 only?
They are creating an artificial distinction between Helldivers 2 and all these other games to be angry at Sony.Cod mw3 is one of the biggest examples
next year xbox will be in deep poo poo if they dont put it day 1 in gamepass. to avoid this exact problem. Imagine taking money from both ps and xbox and not pc for the online? jeez.Cod mw3 is one of the biggest examples
This, if they respected their core costumers even a little that is what they would be doing. These Sony multiplayer games which release simultaneously on PS5 and PC should not be behind a paywall on PS5 either.

Helldivers needs to be the sacrificial lamb that will reverse paid online for some reason. This whole thing is manufactured outrage and dumb.
As someone mentioned in the thread just give PS5 owners some perks and rewards. Same way they did with GTA V PS4 / PS5 to make people GTA Online feel like the superior package on PlayStation.True I get your point. Couldn’t care less what that crowd thinks.
This whole PC Day 1 will open a can of worms for Sony when it comes to multiplayer games.
No PC release no issues.
Maybe should have reduced the price of the PS5 version or increase the price of the PC version.
Or online is free.

Yep. Microsoft started it and Sony realised a good portion of gamers were prepared to pay so it suits all the console manufacturers.Oh no this dumb thread is coming back to life
Not defending but you have to pay to play online on PS, Xbox and Switch.
You want Sony to make an exception for Helldivers 2 only? It's too late now. The fight was lost long ago.
Be nice to @BatzyThe lengths you guys go to justify paid online is laughable.
