nuh-uh, they're buying every developer sony fanboys like. Even if those developers who are clearly abandoning sony as we speak. A Sony fanboy podcast told me so. Oh and that twitter fanboy who lives in a 3rd world South American country confirmed it!
It's so funny, as someone who lives in Japan, to think that these folks thinks anyone remotely gives a fuck about sony or playstation here nowadays. they're seen as western brand, moreover a traitor brand, and they're getting outsold by nintendo 10:1. Nobody here even owns a TV, cares about console, or can fit a clunksole as big as the PS5 in their apartment, LOL. I don't know a single person who owns a playstation here. They're going toe to toe with Xbox for last place, LMAO!
they're clearly very jealous of the Switch and its success, and its completely blindsided them by stealing the japanese market, JRPGs, and japanese games supremacy in general away from them. Atlus and Persona for instance, all the fans moved to Switch. None of us care about PS moving forward, lol.
They're used to gloating and holding that over Xbox, but they can't do that with Switch. They have to submit and acknowledge that japan has rejected them in favor of Nintendo. Nintendo is a national heritage brand. Land in Narita airport and you have to walk through the Nintendo Zone. Mario is everywhere. Splatoon is everywhere. Kirby rice balls may even be served for lunch today. You can't escape Nintendo's absolute dominance over the region.
Sony fanboys are very scared of the S-E x Nintendo relationship. All the fake action RPGs in the world can't erase Octopath Traveler, Live a Live, Triangle Strategy, and the like. S-E's core is Nintendo right now.... and that is a great thing to see.
One day, FF will come home to Nintendo as well. It started on Nintendo afterall, and S-E owes everything to the SNES. Soon they will come home and Nintendo will acquire S-E.
oh and FF6>>>FF7
