Biggest scope / scale ever but desperate to give Microsoft more cash for 10 paid expansions... 
I'm 10 hours in , I can see some of the highlights that people enjoy, but overall the game feels like such a chore to play. The terrible combat, traversal, inventory management, loading screens, game mechanics, and graphics aren't worth rummaging through just to get to a decent 7/10 story that anyone can predict from a mile away. Everything just sticks out more since I've been playing a ton of Baldur's Gate 3, an actual amazing RPG.
HiFi Rush is far and away Xbox's best game this year !!! I love that game, wish it got the recognition it deserved. Xbox didn't deserve exclusivity, their only great game this year and they didn't do much to support it. With how underwhelming Starfield and Redfall have been, they should be highlighting it A LOT MORE.

Funny thing about hi fi rush is that is exactly the type of game you'd expect to go to switch so Microsoft didn't just take it away from playstation they also very possibly took it away from Nintendo aswell

From highly influential game dev to "old man yells at cloud" its been a hell of a downward spiral.
Only 1 million CCUs across ALL platforms? Steam, Xbox and PC GP, and paid console? That is absolutely balls to the wall pathetic. Mass-exodus-at-Bethesda-worthy pathetic. And CCUs for a single player game that's given away on GP is probably the most meaningless measure you can spit out for this game outside of "7 billion seconds spent loading" and "80 billion bullets fired".
And it won't come near Fallout 4's 12 mil launch sales either. They've cratered as a business.

I'm sure steam is over the moon about the Activision blizzard merger that they're supporting then seen as gamepass is canniblizing sales on steam for big Bethesda games already according to you
You think I find this acceptable? Cannabilizing revenues is a terrible idea by choosing to rent the game for $12 than sell it at full retail. Gamepass is a horrible strategy that I’m sure Pete Hines is not happy about especially seeing how Bobby gets to still sell Diablo and yearly CoD.
It’s a gamepass release. MS games sales are dead. It won’t make money until it keeps off the service phase and monetized with dlc and expansions.

I think this clown is just extremely desperate to get a new game dev job by any means necessary. I can't think of any other explanation to say such nonsense, it's not even top 3 Bethesda games of all time..... Personally I can see peeps making a lot of noise once Lies Of P releases. I believe it's a Souls-Bourne genre, in the wake of Elden Ring. It's got a target on its back, for sure.
