I thought there used to be a "delete (my own) post" button? Instead of having to ask a moderator/admin to do so?
Also, please avoid (just a suggestion, I'm not strong-arming anyone) making a section dedicated to world events/news and/or Politics. It never ends well, and s**tholes like GameFAQs, Reddit, Neoseeker, etc. exemplify it.

It feels like with some reworded OT posts for housing important info in merged threads, or usage of threadmarks etc, we could condense a lot of topics together, and probably in doing so make the presentation more tidy as separate board sections are condensed down too, with more cohesive pinned threads.
