Just because you say it is not important does not make it so.

Cost is not a factor to superiority in ANYTHING. Something is better, something is worse. Cost plays no factor in that equation, they are completely decoupled.

A Bugatti Chiron is superior to a Lamborghini Aventador, it costing $2 million more doesn't matter, it's better regardless.

Cost is not important nor is it a factor OF ANY KIND in the determination of whether something is superior or not.

Superiority is completely decoupled from cost. Whether cost is a deciding factor of whether you purchase something or not doesn't change the hierarchy of where hardware stands.
