There's nothing to be sad about. Japan has been dead for consoles since PS2. Why is this a surprise to anyone? Sony will max out at around 10m PS5 consoles sold in Japan and move on with PS6 and their Portable which will do far better than PS3/PS4/PS5 combined because Japan is all about mobile/handhelds. Outside of two thirds of the PS3 generation, Sony has always done great and will continue to do great.
