Show us and release Everwild for God sake.
Said the same thing about perfect dark in 2020 lol
Below 5k is a flop no matter what. It will never reach that. The game has only been out a few hours?
Also PS5 / Switch
I feel like people don't even give people time to play the game or sales to come out before jumping on the FLOP train
you really think it'll change? Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered had a peak of 2,5k playersThe game has only been out a few hours?

he's shrinking the gap between Console and PC releases... Jim Ryan knew PC was a threat, Hermen in the other hand... he doesn't give two shitsSetting new records under Hermens visionary leadership
For a flop this big, waiting won't change the fate of this release. Outside the top 50 on launch day for a big publisher like Sony there's no way spin this. It's dead.Feels a bit too early for this thread? Didn't expect good PC numbers.
Will wait for the UK sales data for Switch and PS5 to at least see where this is going.

95% of the time when a game flops on one platform it flops on all the other platforms as well, I bet this game wont even reach the first page of top sellers on most stores for playstation too.The Steam peak was reached 15 minutes ago and it's been dropping since. At this pace the game won't tap out beyond 1K CCU for that platform over the weekend, and that's if they're lucky.
Yes it's on PS5 & Switch as well, but SIE have invited a conversation focused on MAU and CCU because of their PC strategy with Steam this gen. They capitulated to Steam with Helldivers 2 PSN in a way they've never done for their own platform. Between that and porting most of their titles this gen to Steam with shortening porting windows, they've created an impression that the platform is worth a lot to their ecosystem.
So, no one should be surprised when we look at Steam performance for these games, and see them performing badly like this and reacting as such. It's an important enough platform to SIE (supposedly) to warrant porting almost all of their games to and pushing for shorter windows between versions, but it's not important enough to discuss player counts and sales estimates for the games that get ported to it?
I mean it's not our fault PlayStation doesn't have transparent player data on their platform. If they want the console & PSN to lead mindshare in MAU discussions, maybe try innovating in making that data more forward-facing, instead of leaving that solely to Steam (and letting them run away with controlling discussion on game performance whenever official sales numbers aren't provided).
