Makes sense to me. You like PlayStation hardware. Hope the PS6 is a great platform!
I could always jump ship if a better machine comes around but Sony would also have to not be positioned as market leader. Because games are designed for their platforms as priority by consequence of being at the top. So that’s just the best bet as a consumer.
I don’t have much allegiance to their internal games because they earned my respect as hardware maker. PlayStation is was successful on the backs of third party devs. I do love stuff like Bloodborne and the newest God of War series.
Over the years they’ve built a decent pedigree. They’re not quite Nintendo with brand strength but they’ve made huge strides. So I guess more garbage like Concord would hurt them for me.
If they also did Bungie dirty I’d be upset since Bungie, Kojima and From are my favorites in the industry but despite all the drama and fake news I still think Sony is the best partner.

Linux is great, but nvidea with Linux is just a crap experience.

For me it was the combo punch of me purchasing the Horizon PSVR 2 bundle and feeling like it was a huge waste of money. TBF it is somewhat because RE4 Remake in VR was a bit less mind blowing as OG RE4 VR on Oculus Quest 2. However I can't believe that Sony couldn't support PSVR 2 just a bit better. I Could of used a FF7 rebirth mini game in VR like FFXV? No Spider-Man 2 VR content to reward those who bought the game on playstation after it was announced for PC? But when my Xperia phone deleted all my photos and videos when trying to connect it to my new Mini PC that is when I said I am done with Sony period. Other stuff like my PlayStation rewards credit card no longer giving me free psn points after the end of this year and the Playstation Stars dropping psn credit as well helps me not bother with PlayStation anymore.
Right now Nintendo and pc. I still play my ps4 to collect the last few foamstars trophies but I really want to catch up on some games I missed before Mario and Luigi hits next month.
I have had Mario and Luigi Paper Jam on my back log since January on 2016, Mario and Luigi Superstar saga remake on 3DS since 2018, and need to beat Luigi's Mansion 3 one of these days. Besides that I have been playing a lot of RE4 Project HD mod on PC lately and its been a blast.
I do think I might return to the PS3 next month tho to finally get around to playing the OG Silent Hill 2 on the HD Collection if I have time. I got Silent Hill 1 on PS3 for like 6 bucks two years ago and had a blast with it and I'm right at the very end of that game.

This is the one aspect in which i have a shiver of compassion for the Xbox-Players, knowing that their libraries might turn into duds, or some wicked cloud offering...
I should be the one asking if you're serious. Nintendo averaged almost one game per month during the Switch lifespan. PlayStation is nowhere near that.

Wanna play that game then Sony averages more than that when it chucks PS1 and PS2 ports on PS Plus each month.
And half of them were Wii U ports and remasters.

Regardless of PC ports, Spider-Man 2 was kind of boring, but Astro is fun though.
99% of GaaS games are shit. I don't even touch these games anymore.
The future of Playstation/ gaming is for the modern audience who love Fortnite, Pubg, and purple hair She/shim. It's definitely my final years. PS5 pro is likely my last console purchase.
