    Of course gamers with more money will go to PC if they haven't already. Console is great for lower income people, casuals, or those that think PCs are too difficult. Nintendo games are on PC as well, and that hasn't hurt them, even when the games release there a week early.

    there is no future proofing with technology. My build from 2020 is still going strong. According to the rumored specs, it's still better than the ps5 pro.

    Playstation will be fine as it's the defactp home console. As long as people keep buying consoles, it will be fine. People on here are already making the cost argument. Not everyone has the money or cares enough about gaming to buy a good PC. MS isn't going to buy Valve.

    Yeah if you can't afford better just get a console. Of course then you have to pay for online. You could count the free games on EGS every week too if you wanted. Those don't require a subscription.

    One of the most amusing things in this thread is thr number of people who think vram is system ram. 4070 and 13600k will outperform the ps5 pro. But I don't see the price argument. Go get a job. Most of you guys only have this as a hobby; it shouldn't be an issue for you.

    DLSS is pretty huge. I had an RDNA2 card and had nothing but problems. Never again. 3060 has better RT than a PS5. Performance wise they're pretty close.

    Why so mad? And? That should really tell you how bad console gaming is if people will spend more for less performance. There is more than 1% of people with better hardware than a 6600xt. 3060 has better RT and is #1. No, because drivers and features.

    Rest in piss. That being said, there is a storm coming. Layoffs aren't unusual in tech this year.
