It's closer to Tales of Arise if you ignore the combat.More I advance more I see the flaws.
It is 8.5/10 game for me and it is great but it could be better.
The story that was I found great at first become well less great in the middle… but it is still a good story.
Side quests are still the most bored prt of the game
I guess except for some weird reviewers most were on spot… overall I believe GoW/Ragnarok is a better game than FFXVI (it is the most close game I can think recently).
I stopped to play Tales of games since well SNES… the last demo I tried was Tales of Berseria on PS3.It's closer to Tales of Arise if you ignore the combat.
I finished the game and it's one of the best games this generation. I give it 9/10. Very memorable characters and beautiful story. Best Final Fantasy in years.
My problems are that they lost potential in level design, and some boring main quests that destroyed the pacing.
The game is also very easy. I died 3 times only because I was drinking tea while fighting bosses.

The chaotic combat was what put me off from Tales of games.
Trophy for buying 4 roundsBtw is there any point to buying the hall a round of drinks for 10,000 Gil? I did it once but it didn’t do anything?
You are missing alot of you skipped Arise. Very beautiful story and memorable characters. I liked the combat though it's kind of chaotic as you described. However, it is much more challenging and more rewarding than FF16.I stopped to play Tales of games since well SNES… the last demo I tried was Tales of Berseria on PS3.

they hinted it way back then when they said they had a 18-month plan regarding FFXVI sales.Yoshi P hinting at more content coming for FF16
Yeah, how the story is developing, i can see few big DLCs which they could make.they hinted it way back then when they said they had a 18-month plan regarding FFXVI sales.
Vesperia is like the first Tales of in 2D combat? If so I will try it.I played pretty much most of them since Tales of Symphonia. Berseria is a fan favorite because it’s a waifu simulator… meh I very much disagree when I see it peddled.
Vesperia is the absolute best in the series and the most polished of the 2D/pseudo 3d era. Arise is the best of the 3d combat era by far since the level design isn’t as terrible as berseria etc and the previous 3d games. Arise is where it all comes together finally for modern tales games.
Vesperia is where to start and it’s aged exceptionally well. The remaster is excellent. Arise is sorta forgettable yet a good game. Vesperia is just masterclass
There's a lot of FUD, this analyst is trying to give the facts.

It was 38.4 million shipped at end of March.Nah there's way more than 33m ps5's now, but it probably isn't above 40m

Oh, i didn't realize it was 38.4 shipped in march. I guess that means like 43-44m shipped by end of june, so yeah sell through should be above 40m, probably 42m+It was 38.4 million shipped at end of March.
The changes to end of June be like 42m or more is pretty high that puts the actual userbase near the FFXVI launch really close to 40m.
In any case I believe PS5 is already over 40 million in sold-out but these are my guesses.
