If you want to claim HFW is the best technically advanced game (last gen tech) for 2022, then I won't argue with that. There aren't many games released this year. But it's certainly not for all time.
For those that hate Sony, What made you feel the way you do about them?

The request was to name 3rd party studios (Nintendo is just not Sony so I added it) in number that obviously makes the number of games higher than Sony 1st party games. Don't try flipping the script to now compare the quality of those games. I'm not here to argue that.That list...Nintendo is third party now? Did Quantic Dream made anything without Sony in the last 15 years? Are ere buying those expensive cards to play Fortnite? Lets not even mention the fact that Bungie is part of Sony now (a dev I never cared about btw). Listing CoD studios as well, rough, I didn't realize the state of third party studios was that bad. CDPR? Come on now, they made the only game I ever asked for a refund given how bad of a game it was.
The irony is that if you combine the output from all those third parties devs since 2020, I would take what Sony has produced over them easily, most were hardly able to put out any games.
edit: Didn't even realize you listed Ubisoft as a reference for quality, you and I have a very different idea of what quality is.

What a bizarre way to go about it if that's all you wanted to say.Anyway Sony is one of the most if not the most productive game publishers, they have had quantity and quality consistently for a long time at this point and were even able to release plenty of games during and after the pandemic.

The developers that push tech are 3rd party developers (i.e. 4A Games with full RT lighting pipeline in Metro Exodus, for example).What? Clearly that's not the case, given the absurd stuff you write. It ain't worth anyone's time to try and convince you given that you by your own admition don't even play Sony games, you just seem mad that PC doesn't have games with the production value to compete with PlayStation Studios and instead of being happy that at least those games are being ported to PC now you just get extra salty that from now on some of the best looking PC games are going to be PlayStation Studios games.

Sony invented tons of techs over the years. Animations in TLOU 2 were by far the most advanced in any game. Everybody agrees on that.
Sony made the checkerboard rendering too (which was later used on PC) . Among other reconstruction techniques.
Dualsense tech, haptics... PSVR... PS Eye...
"Sony never pushed the tech." is such a dumb thing to say.
God of War made in a single cut. The quality of motion capture and performance in their games...
Everybody agrees Sony pushed the tech tons of times...

Are you saying TLOU 1 and 2 haven’t pushed tech? What do you think mocap animation is? What game has better animation than TLOU2? What ps3 game had better animation than TLOU1? And what ps3 game has better graphics than TLOU1? What is tech for you? Lol
This is the guy that made a thread about impressive combat animations in games and stated that people shouldn't use PlayStation games as examples. He doesn't even try to hide his agenda.
Recently XSX has had better performance in the head to head comparisons. Better implementation of VRR is also a nice touch and was available day 1. In addition things like Quick Resume and Cloud streaming make it super easy to try different games and bounce between titles. David Jaffe broke it down. Keep in mind this was an actual Sony employee so his ability to get past the hate proves its possible.
Most of MS releases are multi-player titles and I prefer to play with my friends than alone. My Xbox also happens to be whisper quiet and my PS5 has irritating coil whine.
I don't think PS+ is better than Game pass at all. Game pass gets new releases regularly. I'm also pretty sure you don't get PC versions included with a PS+ sub do you? There are tons of reasons to prefer to play on XSX over PS5. My PS5 is for exclusives only.

The issue with you, @Bernd Lauert and @adamsapple is that you can never explain properly why the Xbox is so much better. You never mention games. You just repeat marketing like "value", "deal", "powerful". Now with PS+ is even more confusing. Anything you say applies to Playstation more than Xbox. The PS+ library is much better (and cheaper) than GP for 99% of people unless you're on PC only.
Blah blah blah. Facts are facts. I clearly listed features I prefer on Xbox that in most cases PlayStation doesn't offer at all. I have not mentioned how I saved money? I was able to get Forza Horizon 5 and two expansions for $44 and play the game early. I also can play the game on my PC with cross save for no additional charge. Xbox simply offers a superior value dude get over it.
You like PlayStation more? Good for you. I prefer more options and right now XSX is offering a superior console with better features. Maybe Sony will improve their features and offer more games I like or maybe they won't. I'm just glad I won't have to miss out on anything while they figure out what they are going to do. Being a hater is so sad.
The main differentiator between Gamepass and the new PS+ is day one games. Last year I got to play Psychonauts 2, Forza and Halo for a small fee. This year I got to play many 3rd party day one games for the same small fee, discovering many gems along the way.
Don't get me wrong, the new PS+ is a good deal. I'll subscribe to Extra once I get a PS5. But I prefer Gamepass for now. I assume Jimbo will get you guys more day one games soon so we'll see how it goes in the future. Competition is good.
