Hopefully Until Dawn and Lego Horizon will flop badly on PC and PS5 so that Sony rethinks its whole strategy. Some friends have also stopped buying games for PS5 that are released on PC on day 1. In my opinion, ports are coming out too quickly for PC these days, while console gamers haven't had a new AAA game in almost a year. Instead, we'll probably get 2 remasters, 1 remake, 2 live service games, and an extremely good AA game by the end of the year. I can't imagine that they'll be able to maintain or improve PS5 sales figures like this. If they port games to Switch, I don't care, they can sell a few more games that way, especially in Japan, and technically Switch 1 and 2 aren't competition, but all the PC ports will ensure that the PS5 sells significantly worse than the PS4, and many will certainly consider whether they even need a PS6 or whether they'd rather wait 1-2 years for the PC port.
Especially now that Xbox is a total failure as a competitor and is even releasing games for PS5, Sony should put everything on the line and say they will no longer release games for PC, and anyone who wants to play Bloodborne Remaster can only do so on PS5. But only Sony can do that: PS5 owners are dissatisfied, PC players are dissatisfied because of the PSN account, Dreamcastguy is dissatisfied because he is always dissatisfied, and Xbox players (who are actually all PC players anyway) hate the world anyway. Oh yes, Nintendo fans are now getting involved too and believe that PC + Switch 2 is the perfect solution to be able to play everything, even though you really only need a good PC to be able to play Switch games better than on the outdated Switch hardware.
If Sony doesn't show anything new for 2025 this year, it will be a wild ride.
