Look im not going to try and spin for sony here, 10 years is alot worse than it could be so its not the worst hand they could be dealt. They need to try and circle the wagons on companies that define the ps brand either with large investments or full on acquisitions. I think investments in japanese publishers and acquiring smaller second party studios makes the most sense.
Sony is pretty good about fostering second parties and allowing them to grow and i think thats what they should do with their Gaas games they have planned with them. I think they should take a couple billion dollars and invest that in square and capcom. Even if the deal is approved they have 10 years to to figure things out and its not like MS will be making a come back this ge,n, they lose more marketshare and mindshare every passing day. By the time this generation is over, i predict xbox will be so irrelavent they may just kill cod by tying the brand to the xbox brand.

One question I have about this is Microsoft has been pushing this 10 year agreement for a while but we also saw articles that Activision or MS is considering moving COD to a Biennial releases. So if that happens the agreement in place if passes wouldn't that means instead of the next 10 release, it would only be the next 5 or whenever they move to releases every 2 years?
