Is using your amount earned from your largest earning division on a smaller division within the same megacorp to undermine and undercut the competition considered anti-competitive?
No, but predatory pricing that's often subsidised by this kind of structure is. Predatory pricing would be offering something at a price your competitor could not do without sustaining losses, like 100s of titles including day one releases for $15 per month. The goal here is that once the competitor is driven out of business, they raise prices as the only game in town.

That's how this scummy company has been operating since a long time

It's like the Depp vs Heard trial all over again. MS is backed by shill media like Heard was, of course.
Benji is a moron, the FTC very 1st comment today; "This hearing is not to determine if the merger is approved or denied, it's to let the ftc process play out as designed"

MS is trying to circumvent the ftc process.

Actually hoeg law and his ilk (florian) are major wife beater depp supporters, just like they support MS. Massive correlation between the two

Assuming that’s what project Phoenix actually was, I’m sure Sony has a mole or 2 in SE. so they’ve potentially known about this for 3 years and haven’t done anything? Ok I’m with you guys on Sony management is incompetent now.

The whole PC initiative looked like Sony freaking out because they did not see consoles as a viable future. I would not put it past executives to get hyped on their own BS when it comes to cloud, services and GaaS.

I still think Nintendo is the only one that gets the value of consoles and console games.

Why would Sony buy them? Sony dont do business the way ms does, ms would buy se to hurt sony where as sony would buy them to leverage their ip across sony entire business.
To Sony they prolly sitting down wondering how many ff movies can you make and realize it would be a shit purchase for them.
If ms gets abk, sony needs to get T2, thats the best counter merger.

They will. And it already happened in the past.

Are you really surprised? They even thought about buying Capcom a few years ago.
Microsoft will buy even more after the Activision-Blizzard acquisition goes through. Phil Spencer already confirmed that.

I get that it would be a good purchase if they planned to hurt MS but what good is CD to Sony as a whole?
My point is, sony wont spend money that way, they clearly have a different set of mind when it comes to major purchase.
