What a slap in the face for Playstation fans
Seems like a great way to make more money and incentive developers to put more games on PSVR2 for PS5.
What a slap in the face for Playstation fans
how does creating an adaptor for PC incentivize developers to put more games on PS5? You always write some bs that makes no sense. And PS5 is already the lead platform for VR. So you're also wrong.Seems like a great way to make more money and incentive developers to put more games on PSVR2 for PS5.

Are you joking?how does creating an adaptor for PC incentivize developers to put more games on PS5? You always write some bs that makes no sense. And PS5 is already the lead platform for VR. So you're also wrong.
Are you joking?
Developers have to develop / optimize their games to work with VR devices like PSVR2… if it is already on PC then they will do for PSVR2… so everything will be ready to work with PSVR2.
If the work is already done why should they not put the game on PS5 too? Limiting PSVR2 to PS5 was a big non-incentive to developers even work with it.
Plus the adapter will increase the userbase of PSVR2 in the market that again is another big incentive to developer out games on PSVR2.
BTW you have a very wrong ideia about the VR market… PSVR2 was never the lead platform.
Like the usual nonsense lolLook how crazy you sound, you don't even know how things work. Just because a game is on PC with the PSVR2 adaptor doesn't mean it will be the same version as a native PS5 PSVR2 version.
Eye tracking and FOVeated rendering DOES NOT EVEN WORK ON PC!!!! This is the big thing that makes PS5 PSVR2 the definitive experience in games. It's why VR games on PS5 look much better than games on PC with much more powerful components....Another thing, adaptive triggers and haptic feedback also don't work on PC. So you saying that PC adaptor will make it easy to port a PS5 version is pure nonsense. A straight PCVR port to PS5 would be horrible and not ideal at all....
Lastly, just because one tiny developer says PSVR isn't the lead platform, that makes a it fact? Who tf is "Universe Ocean" their game has 4 reviews on Steam LMFAO. This is like taking Mike Rose opinion about Xbox/PlayStation and saying its a fact he said GamePass is the best thing ever, does that make it true?
as always:Like the usual nonsense lol
You just tried to troll.as always:
you type straight BS
I completely debunk it
you refuse to admit you're wrong and call me a troll and run away
ok so a PC version with no eye tracking, FOVeated rendering, haptic feedback, or adaptive triggers is the exact same as a native PS5 PSVR2 version? Yes or no?You just tried to troll.
What I said is still true.
What that even means.ok so a PC version with no eye tracking, FOVeated rendering, haptic feedback, or adaptive triggers is the exact same as a native PS5 PSVR2 version? Yes or no?
ok so a PC version with no eye tracking, FOVeated rendering, haptic feedback, or adaptive triggers is the exact same as a native PS5 PSVR2 version? Yes or no?
Why are you lying? These features are not available on PC. HOW tf is it "the same on PC and PS5 with all the features"???What that even means.
PSVR2 is the same on PC and PS5 with all features.
The device is the same and now that it is on PC developers can use all the features.
You are probably thinking games developed using PCVR but running PSVR2 and mistaking these features doesn’t work on PC.
Now developers will work on PSVR2 games and so the features will work… games made for PSVR2 on PC will have way bigger chance to go to PS5… something that didn’t happen before with games made for PCVR.
PSVR2 adapter increases both the userbase and the change to developers work in their games for PSVR2… so having the game developed for PSVR2 why not release it on PS5?
Logic is logic… that is why people can’t understand your weird “arguments”.
That now with PSVR2 adapter developers will make more games supporting PSVR2 and its features. Those features don’t work cause NO PC VR game supports them.
Blame the developers NOT Sony.
Honestly.
Where did I blame Sony for anything? .... Read the entire discussion before you comment some irrelevant nonsense. He said the adapter is great because a PC version of a VR game can be ported directly to PS5, I said no it can't because PC doesn't even have many of the best features that PS5 PSVR2 does. Those features don’t work cause NO PC VR game supports them.
Blame the developers NOT Sony.
Honestly.
There is no game for PSVR2 on PC that is why it say it won’t work. Why are you lying? These features are not available on PC. HOW tf is it "the same on PC and PS5 with all the features"???
Directly from PSBlog - "PS VR2 was designed from the ground up specifically for PS5 – so you’ll notice that some key features, like HDR, headset feedback, eye tracking, adaptive triggers, and haptic feedback (other than rumble), are not available when playing on PC."
PlayStation VR2 players can access games on PC with adapter starting on August 7
With the PlayStation VR2 PC adapter, players can expand their game library with thousands of SteamVR titles.blog.playstation.com
Can you not read English? What does the blog post say? "PS VR2 was designed from the ground up specifically for PS5 – so you’ll notice that some key features, like HDR, headset feedback, eye tracking, adaptive triggers, and haptic feedback (other than rumble), are NOT AVAILABLE when playing on PC."There is no game for PSVR2 on PC that is why it say it won’t work.
The moment developers started to release these features it will work.
Because you can’t understand what you are reading… it is not a hardware limitation but because there is no software on PC yet.Can you not read English? What does the blog post say? How tf are developers going to add something that is NOT AVAILABLE? That's like saying a Radeon GPU will get DLSS3 if the developers just decide to add it
All you do is lie. Like always, you never admit you're wrong, you just keep doubling down and repeating yourself until people move on and forget how much of a liar you are. This is the 2nd time in 2 days you've done this, you need to be banned from this site for spreading constant misinformation.
Because you can’t understand what you are reading… it is not a hardware limitation but because there is no software on PC yet.
I can give you the Eye Tracking / Favored Rendering point that is a hardware limitation in most USB ports (not all).
But most limitations of your list are lack of PC software… and not a PSVR2 limitation because it is the exactly same hardware.
BTW that explain better the actual limitations.
I’m not sure what is hard to understand…So first you said "PSVR2 is the same on PC and PS5 with all features"..... but now you admit they don't have "all the same features"
See what I mean, you lie way too much and need to stop and do your research before speaking. The "work arounds" he mentions are purely hypothetical and are a lot easier said than done. He mentioned several limitations that are significant hurdles which won't be overcome for a long time. Probably not at least 2-3 years of dedicated modding efforts... If it were as simple as "just turn it on", Sony would've done it themselves in the year they spent developing the adaptor and PC drivers.
So don't be disingenuous and say "they're the same", when that isn't remotely true. And don't say "PC game can just be ported to PS5 easy now" when that isn't the case....not even close. A native PS5 version of a VR game is completely different from a PC version, and superior in every way.
Here you go being disingenuous again, when the hell did I say it was a different device? When?I’m not sure what is hard to understand…
PSVR2 is the same device…
You don’t have a PSVR2 for PC and a PSVR2 for PS5…
You have a single device with all features.
If PSVR2 supports X feature it can be done on PS5 and PC… the only difference is lack of actual software.
It is the same fucking hardware.
There is no magic that changes the hardware when it is plugged to PS5.
