This might not be the correct thread for a question like this and it's rather heavy to come straight out of the gate with, but:
I'm here as a direct result of ResetERA finding me to be undesirable, somehow. I know everyone that gets banned from somewhere tends to pull the "but I didn't do anything" card, but I genuinely can't figure out what i did to be banned in the first place and my subsequent bans have been not for doing anything inappropriate or upsetting anyone, but simply because they ban permanently on-sight if they suspect someone is an "alt account." As far as I can tell, I was originally banned because, around 2019, I expressed that the idea of protests becoming violent was undermining the purpose of having them in the first place and giving "the other side" examples and ammunition to use to shut down even the very concept of peaceful protest and civil disobedience, to which several members of the community reacted with rage that "nothing will ever change that way," and telling me that I'm "evil" and "privileged" because I suggested that people who approached politicians in restaurants simply stand silently, arms crossed and glaring rather than getting physical.
To be transparent, there's an ongoing chronicle of ResetERA's moderation history @ https://resetera.kiwifarms.net/hot
My previous usernames there were "SoulUnison," "ResetSoul," and "Drifting."
I guess what I'm trying to get at is: what's the moderation philosophy around here? The community DNA? Is there/has it been considered for there to be a public-facing log of moderated posts and the reasoning for actions taken? I notice there's the beginnings of something along those lines here: https://icon-era.com/banned-users-list/, but it doesn't allow users to actually see the content of comments that were actionable, only vague, nondescript blurbs from the moderator in question as they close the ticket, so to speak. Ideally, I'd like to see a forum that involves its userbase in the moderation process, putting reported or questionable content up in a sequestered area where users can vote and/or otherwise have input on what's appropriate and to push for justification and accountability when something seems heavy-handed, unreasonable and/or personal.

Also, just as a point of reference, Cat lovers are not welcome on this forum.Welcome to IE! I hope your stay is fun and enjoyable.
If you want to discuss your bans from other sites, we've just made an Off-Topic thread in the Communities page for this very thing.
We've all been 'victims' at some point or another from various websites, so I empathize with you especially if you feel you wasn't being a troll. However, we all have to realize that the mods from these sites are people and all it takes is you to piss off one mod in order to make your stay very unpleasant and short. People have biases and that's going to always be the case.
If you are here and post something offending to others, we'll warn you and place the warning in the post that warranted such. At that point, you can PM any mod you want or discuss in our discord channel to get immediate feedback.
Again, welcome aboard!
