MGS made it a 6/7 Otherwise it would be a 4/5.
Some decent announcements and games that I will buy, but nothing big or enough for this kind of show after 2 years….
Marathon sounds interesting out of the new studios. Journey studio game gave me PS3 era vibes etc.
Indies look cool but where is Naughty Dog, Cory Balrog, Persona 6, Miyazaki, SuckerPunch? House Marque, Bluepoint? Bend? Castlevania?
And what games are 3rd party exclusives? Square gave us a Splatoon ripoff instead of Kingdom Hearts, Dragon Quest or another FF. Capcom with a Splatoon ripoff instead of there library of games.

If Xbox has some Bandai Namco, SEGA and Capcom games to show that don't suck too hard - as they usually do - they'll already have a better show than what Sony delivered today. If they show Persona 3 Remake, Dragon Ball Z Budokai 4 and another Capcom remake/sequel I'm happy. The show will still be far too long and have tons of games I will never care about, but at least it's something and Sony hasn't exactly raised the bar that high today...

Show was 4. Mediocre. Bunch of cgi. Live service galore that ll flop. No new ips, big aaa. Studios missing. Where re Silent hill and star blade? Release dates. DS2? Naughy dog? bunch of indies no1 cares about. Im getting sick of ff16.
Maybe ms should be allowed to buy ab. Everything i saw was sony who doesnt care at all.
Spider man and phantom blade were highlight 4 me. Hoping marathon amd concord ends up being good.

I'm exactly where you are...
I held off on my indictment of the Jim and Hermen duo for a while to see what they could do but today confirmed to me that they have no clue about their audience, no idea what we want, they want to shove GAAS, cheap 3rd party games and streaming down our throat.
It honestly feels like XBox lite is their vision for PlayStation and I AM NOT down for that.
I think they need to go ASAP. It may be the beers making me say that but it feels right to get them out of leadership right now.
