I have no problem with people disagreeing. I fail to see where I'm complaining of being a victim. All I was saying is that it's ok for me to state someome needing glasses. That's not a victim. That's being snide about a comment he made. Is that a bad thing when it's said over and over again about other game disagreements?
Here's how you try to be the victim
I received resistance as soon as I mentioned the game looking better than anything else out there. Games are allowed to look "good" but not allowed to look "better than anything else out there".
When people disagree with your claim, you start telling people that you're not allowed to say a game looks better than anything else out there.
You're doing the same thing you're accusing people of doing. People can't say HFW looks better than Hellblade 2 without any pushback.
Tell you what. Next time when someone disagrees with my comments, I'll take the political stance and say "I disagree with HFW being better. And I'll point to gifs like these:
to support my comment.
Sure you can post gifs if you want, but people are going to disagree.
While the game looks good, I do believe the dark environment hides a lot of the detail.
Here's an environment with more lighting.
We can see more of the detail here and it really doesn't stand out to me.
While The Order 1886 did dark environments, those enclosed environments were mostly interior environments that didn't feel flat.
The key to one of the best looking games isn't always graphical detail, but art direction
Here's an example of the lighter environments when it works with great detail.
But when it becomes less impressive.
The point is that I think the darker environments are still lacking that wow factor to me.
I want to see more than just a bridge and boulders from Hellblade 2 because those things just don't stand out to me.
