Maybe its not that relevant for a big showcase but I would like to see that Devil May Cry like game "Lost Soul Aside" which was put together by a single developer.
I don't get the hype for that game at all. Being developed by one guy is a red flag.

So I just had a thought. What if Sony 1st party studios is really light on projects because Sony sent out a bunch of the studios' second teams to help out 3rd party devs like they did with Malaysia studio and Krafton for Callisto Protocol? We know that they sent a dev team to help Square with FF16 - maybe all their major 3rd party AAA deals include that kind of support? We now have rumors of Castlevania, Metal Gear Solid, Silent Hill remakes being Playstation exclusives... And CMA dropped the console SLC complaint after seeing all the 3rd party deals Sony had in the works... makes you wonder, right?

With everthing pointing to a Sony showcase what do you think will be shown.

-Medium focus on PSVR2 with some new game announcements.

-Spiderman 2 gameplay
. - Resi Evil 4 remake VR gameplay.

-Factions 2

doubt VR even gets mentioned

Who is this user? Someone reliable regarding leaks?

We already know they're working on something new. Besides, if I knew Sony bought Bluepoint just to keep making remakes, I would sooner jump off a cliff than accept the idea.
When bought they said that weren't working in any remake or remaster, but instead on 'original content'. Later we knew that 'original content' was that they were working as support team in God of War Ragnarok.

Bluepoint has around 70 people, not enough to be working on GoW and in addition to this on their own game. GoWR was released around half a year ago, so it's too soon to show their next game after GoWR.

He is very well known as far as gaming forums go, I believe he used to work for Sony. Not sure if he still does.

The original content wasn't just support work for GOW Ragnarok. They did a Christmas tease last year where they teased an unannounced project alongside GOW Ragnarok.

Playstation studios have a lot more substantial things in development than they seem to be getting credit for here.

It's oficial data from Sony/Bluepoint. Last year they had 69 employees:

In their LinkedIn they have 74 today, so the number doen't seem to have changed much:

Bluepoint's boss, when acquired by Sony said that they were working on 'original content', not a remake and not a remaster:

"Our next project, we're working on original content right now. We can't talk about what that is, but that's the next step in the evolution for us,"..."The transition from remasters to remakes was to test ourselves and push ourselves harder for the next step,"... "Thrush said, noting the team was at about 15 people during the production of the original God of War collection, right now is at about 70 employees, and grew to 95 people at its peak during Demon's Souls (with outsourcing work, too)."

"Our team is a very highly experienced team, the average experience among most people is about 15 years, and all of them come from original development. It’s not like we’re a bunch of developers that got trained up on making remasters and remakes. We have that original game development mindset in our hearts, and that’s what we’re now ready, finally ready with the support of Sony to push forward and show what we can do, and show what PlayStation can do.”

Time later it was officially confirmed that Bluepoint was one of the studios who worked on God of War Ragnarok, a game released this November. So that was their 'original content':

From their asshole. It's actually fun to read them and then watch the user being consistently wrong.
Maybe in your fantasies.

I post factual data with direct sources to back my points, you two simply act like toxic people without sharing factual data to counter what I say or to back your points. So it's the factual data I provide vs your opinions or personal guesses.

I want to add Last of Us Online to my prediction. I want to think it’s coming alongside spider-man for the holiday season. But honestly… spider-man can carry that alone if need be.

Realistically?

-Firewalk's Multiplayer game
-Factions 2
-Arrowhead's game
-Konami stuff
-Something from either Bluepoint or sucker punch
-Pragamata, Dragons dogma 2, and a new monster hunter all would make sense but thats alot of capcom for one show
-FF16 Launch trailer
-FF Tactics remake?
-Indie stuff no one could predict lol
-VR2 Stuff
-The rumored PS handheld wifi thing shows up here
-Trailer for a games TV Show
-Destiny 2 something
-Mass effect 4 and maybe a partnership announcement for battlefield moving forward?
-New xdev publishing partners, ideally cygames for gran blue fantasy
-Grand theft auto 6
-God of war 2 dlc
-Spiderman 2

Death stranding 2 will probably show up at Geoff's show.

Looking at that list, thats ALOT of content and im subscribing to Lono's idea that sony may have two shows this year not just one huge one.

Ubisoft typically partners with Microsoft lately so id imagine Assasins creed and a new farcry show up there but with how bad xbox is doing at the moment its hard to say what third party would want to be seen with them. Capcom also has alot to show but so far Japanese publishers have avoided being seen with MS at shows, besides Sega of course.
