Here's the thing: Forza, Halo, Gears, Pentiment, Hi Fi Rush... I don't give a flying fuck about any of those franchises. I haven't so far and I'm not gonna start now that these "pillars" of Xbox are going to be on PS. As far as I'm concerned, Microsoft can keep its franchises so Tommy Warren can be as happy as an xbot can be. He doesn't realize that his beloved Xbox needs PS more than PS would ever need those games.

What I do care about is all the franchises that I have been able to enjoy freely and platform-agnostically until very recently. DOOM, TES, Fallout, Dishonored, Diablo, etc. All those Zenimax IPs that Microsoft decided to swallow up and make exclusive because they are so inept that they still can't get a foot on the market after more than 20 years trying. When Good Guy Phil shows up and tells me that all those games that are NOT Microsoft games, no matter how many billions they paid for them, are still going to be multiplatform releases like the have always been... that is the moment I'll start caring about Microsoft and its multiplaform plans.

Until then, fuck off, Tom.

Couldn't agree more. I've seen Xbox warriors talking about how PS players want all their games. Nope, if I was interested I would have bought an Xbox by now. All I want is to play the titles (eg. Fallout) I've always played on the system I prefer to play on.

Xbox's 3P plans... Does this in any way help me get L4D 1/2 off XB console obscurity onto PS? EVOLVE, Back 4 Blood and world War Z/Aftermath just don't match up.

They are fucking trash all around. Even their premier games wouldn't do much. These things aren't going to sell much at all.
